Eat Your Catch.
The Fishing Restaurant, Zauo, is quickly catching people’s interest in Japan. Zauo’s interior is decorated with two large boats that sit in water. And the catch… you get to go indoor fishing, and then eat your catch after choosing how you want it to be prepared! It’s really a great interactive, family-friendly restaurant that’s worth a try!
- Grab some bait, a fishing rod, and a net.
- Go fish!
- Hand the caught fish to the staff and they will prepare it how you like!
- There are many different ways that you can choose to have your catch prepared including, sashimi, grilled fish, boiled fish, deep-fried fish, and sushi. YUM!
I’ve read that different locations can vary in small ways but most have the similar concept and design. We paid a visit to Zauo Tenjin located in Fukuoka, Japan.
