This is it.
Our last weekend in Connecticut has come to an end!! And yes, I sat in a lawn chair, in our empty apartment, and drank from a plastic cup.
Boy has the time here been… chaotic and messy. It certainly hasn’t been a great experience but I believe in creating the life in which you want to live. So I’ve continued to focus on the good and what I can control, and in return have had amazing experiences in spite of the rest.
I will leave with friendships that will remain strong no matter the distance.
I will leave with a gratitude for having the time and ability to explore New England and the east coast to its fullest.
Cheers to having made it through.
Cheers to our never-ending adventures.
Cheers to the second-to-last biggest move of our lives.
** Can you guess where we’re off to next??? **
Our roots will forever be from here, America, born and raised. Yet, life requires us to move more frequently than we care to count. Whether living stateside or abroad, you can always find us traveling somewhere. We scout out places that you only think you can dream of one day seeing and we seek out those that aren’t found in guidebooks. We then bring them to life here in our travel memos, so hopefully, one day you too can visit them or at least be able to live vicariously through us. This blog isn’t just about crossing off places from a bucket list. It’s about absorbing and learning how other cultures grow and fit into the same world that we do. Life is short and the world is big. Enjoy and get out there!
