First Class to Jordan

After Egypt, we had wanted to squeeze in a visit to Israel before ending in Jordan. However, because of restrictions connected with our work, we unfortunately had to cross that country off the list. After cancellations for Israel, we tried to extend our stay in Egypt (as that was my dream trip) but things also didn’t work out. So, off we went to our next destination for a total of five days! And boy were we in for a surprise when at check-in we found out that our one-hour flight from Cairo to Amman, Jordan was first class!! It was short lived but now we can say that we’ve experienced it at least once in our lives! Below is proof of me enjoying first class in the spacious comfy seats, separated by the “fancy” curtain, and enjoying “fancy” food, haha.

We arrived quite early in the morning to Amman, which gave us lots of time to check in and get a little rest before heading off to our evening food tour. Before our tour, we made sure to check out the local supermarket next door to grab some snacks for the next couple of days and some local currency to have on hand.

Our roots will forever be from here, America, born and raised. Yet, life requires us to move more frequently than we care to count. Whether living stateside or abroad, you can always find us traveling somewhere. We scout out places that you only think you can dream of one day seeing and we seek out those that aren’t found in guidebooks. We then bring them to life here in our travel memos, so hopefully, one day you too can visit them or at least be able to live vicariously through us. This blog isn’t just about crossing off places from a bucket list. It’s about absorbing and learning how other cultures grow and fit into the same world that we do. Life is short and the world is big. Enjoy and get out there!
